Fen Gezi (science feild trip)

A couple weeks ago i went on a field trip as one of the only ones who went, the very day i also got a note and empty permission slip to go to a Science Center for today. i begged my dad not to go, but am happy that he made me. Today we went to it and it was AWESOME. We got to school w/ about 21 people in the grade, but only 18 went. (9 from each 7th grade class) We got there and split up into groups of 6 and each group got a tour. There were awesome optical illusions on some of the walls, even one that made it appear as if your hand was shrinking. there were magnets exhibits, and airplane exhibits. all of which were amazing, almost all of them were hands on so we could really understand it. There was also a big cell exhibit that showed what the inside of a cell looked like w/ different diseases.

There were also some gravity/space exhibits which were by far my favorite. One of them was this huge circle with three other circles in side. in the smallest circle there was handle bars and a place for someone to stand. when someone stood in it properly it looked like they were in the cartwheel stance. it was to show how it feels with little gravity. i was one of the people to try it. You get in and they strap a huge red belt with metal in it and some stuff on your feet. you lean to move. then when you don't expect the people grab the other circles and push. the movement causes you to do all kind of weird stuff. because of the shape of the thing you can go in almost any direction, (cartwheel, front flip, back flip, and others) you have little control which is just by leaning. when i finally had enough, i had to stop myself. i ended up upside down and facing the wrong way. Also on the way home we stopped by McDonald's and i had my first milkshake in about a year.
